Q.
What does it cost?
A. While there are many variables within
individual projects, most murals run about $60 per square foot
for ceramic tile, to $80 per square foot for stone or glass
tile. Art not supplied pre-scanned will cost an additional $75
to be scanned. Individual accent tiles range from $15 to $30.
Shipping is extra and there is a one-time art fee, depending
on the supplied art.
Q. Will my mural look exactly like the image I
submitted?
A. 2wo Cool Cats strives to produce the highest
quality image reproductions. Color reproduction will vary
based on the tile selected for your project. If we feel we
cannot achieve a satisfactory result, we will contact the
customer to discuss.
Q. How long will it take 2wo Cool Cats Studios to
produce my mural?
A. We typically ship your mural within 2-3 weeks from
the day we receive your order/image.
Q. Can I use any tile for this process?
A. No. You must select your tile from 2wo Cool Cats
Studios' assortment of gloss, matte, satin, glass or stone
tiles.
Q. Where can I install these murals?
A. Any application is fine. Use them anywhere you can
imagine, even in water. The matte or glass tile should be used
for all counter tops or bar tops. The glass tiles meet OSHA
standards for slip resistance. Their breaking strength is 700
percent above industry standards.
Q. What if I break a tile during installation?
A. 2wo Cool Cats Studios will supply a limited number
of replacement tiles at no additional cost. Shipping on
replacement tiles is not included. The number of replacement
tiles is contingent on the size of the project and will be
specified in your order confirmation. For this purpose, we
keep a digital file of every mural produced for a period of 3
years from date of shipment.
Q. Can these murals be installed outside?
A. Depending on where the mural will be installed, we
offer several tile bodies that can be installed outdoors.
These tiles are not recommended to be installed in the direct
sun, but can be placed under awnings and on northern
exposures. UV light will not damage the tiles, but will harm
the dyes used in the imaging process. The dyes and coatings
used on our tiles have UV-inhibitor in them, but they are not
designed for 100 percent UV exposure outside. For this reason,
2wo Cool Cats Studios is currently testing several overcoats
to protect our dyes from excessive UV exposure. |
